Birthday party guests can choose either a hot dog on a stick or chicken nuggets which are served with chips. We also have an option for just chips, plus diet specific options such as Gluten Free mini hot dogs or Gluten Free nuggets, or vegetarian spring rolls/samosas. If you have special dietary requirements within your party, please let us know how we can accommodate.

Yes we do! We can do Gluten Free mini hot dogs and chips for any GF guests. These can be oven cooked separately or done in our regular deep fryer depending on the guests’ dietary needs. We can do vegetarian samosa / spring rolls with chips too for vegetarian and vegan guests. Please make a note if you have specific requirements and we can go through these options with you.

Yes! Of course. If you have birthday party guests that aren’t so keen on the skating but want to join in the party food only, we can add these guests for just $17.00. Talk to the staff on the day when you arrive.

Subject to availability, we can accommodate most requests up until the week of. Our parties are popular and can book up weeks in advance! Contact us to discuss your needs, even on short notice. If you have specific requirements or needs like room hire, cakes or other add-ons, we typically need to know approximately 7 days prior, allowing time to secure your booking and provide the information you need to make your event a success!

Most birthday parties are here for a 2-hour skating session and eat during the session to break up the skating and allow time to celebrate and refuel before taking to the ice again. Session times on weekends and during school holidays are usually 10.00am – 12.00noon, 2.00-4.00pm or 7.30-9.30pm. We can cater to parties arriving early or staying after a session. E.g., Party group and guests can arrive from 1pm for an early eat prior to the 2.00pm session and are usually eating by 1.30pm so they are ready to get their skates on at 2.00pm when skate hire opens! Regular café bookings have a 1-hour slot to enjoy their food but if you think you will want longer, room hire, or other options are available.

There is no age limit on a birthday party package! In fact, some groups choose to book a “birthday party package” even if it’s not a special occasion! This works well for groups that want to skate and eat and reserve a table in our café during a public session and want to take the hassle out of organising food and things on the day.

Skate hire is included in the fee per person in the package. If you have any parents or extras that are just wanting to skate and aren’t necessarily included in the party total, they can just pay the regular admission with skate hire fee of $19.00 per person.

No! A lot of first-time skaters will take their first glide during a party booking. There is always an on-ice assistant to aid and provide tips to skaters who are feeling nervous or need some extra guidance. If you want to include a beginners-based lesson for your booking, we suggest attending our Sunday Beginner Lesson Session option (usually Sunday 12.30pm but times vary). This option can be booked through the booking portal and has all the standard party inclusions, plus the lesson that everyone can participate in (even parents!).

We can cater to groups of most sizes. We don’t have a specified number that we can cater to but happy to discuss larger booking options.

Yes – give us a heads up as soon as possible and usually we can move your booking to an alternate date at no charge. Short notice changes can be tricky, so please contact us as soon as possible!

We offer an option to provide a tasty original foods Chocolate birthday cake as part of our birthday options. If you are bringing your own cake, we are happy to store this if required.
We also have a cake knife and lighters available.
