 We are currently recruiting children, teens and adults for our Synchronised skating teams for the upcoming competitive season. Skaters must have as a minimum a pass at Novice 1 Kiwiskate level and the potential to attain their NZISA Elementary test by July of the competitive year. Alpine Ice currently hosts Synchronised teams for both adults and children. This is a growing sport and enquiries and new members are always welcomed. Skaters begin by learning the skills required for team membership within the Learn to Skate program. Teams may participate in competitions, demonstrations and Ice Shows. Alpine Ice skaters have been succesful in gaining selection to the New Zealand Synchronised Team to compete at the World Synchronised Skating Champs in 2009 (4 selected) and 2010 (6 selected). |
