Skaters begin by learning the skills required for team membership within the Learn to Skate program. Teams may participate in competitions, demonstrations and Ice Shows.  Alpine Ice is currently recruiting skaters for all age groups.   Skaters must have a minimum pass of Novice 1 Kiwiskate level and the potential to attain their NZISA Elementary test by July of the competitive year.  Contact the Skate School Director for more information.

Alpine Ice currenlty hosts one adult team.  To enquire about joining a Synchronised team contact the Canterbury Master Figure Skating Club .

Alpine Ice skaters were successful in gaining selection to the New Zealand Synchronised Team to compete at the World Synchronised Skating Champs in 2009  (4 selected) and 2010 (6 selected).  Congratulations to these skaters!!
