Figure Skating

Figure skating incorporates many different disciplines. Whether you are interested in learning spins, jumps, dance or pairs and if you aim to work towards tests, skate competitively or just for fun, there is a choice of group, semi-private or private lessons. Programs are available to cater for all levels.

 

 

Intro to Figure

Whether you are an adult, teenager or talented tiny, the Intro to Figure group classes offer the opportunity to take the next step beyond Learn to Skate and towards entry into the exciting world of artistry and athleticism which is figure skating. Classes are grouped according to age with Adult and Teen classes on Wednesday evenings and Children’s classes on Friday afternoons. Skaters are encouraged to participate in annual competitions and ice shows and may prepare for the first NZ Ice Skating Association (NZISA) tests. Alpine Ice "Go Figure"

Alpine Ice’s Go Figure program is aimed at competitive and advance recreational skaters. It operates year round with training during the school term, holiday training and annual competitions. For more information about programs, times, prices and how to enrol click here.
